- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 cup peanut butter (I prefer smooth and never use natural peanut butter for baking)
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- sea salt (optional)
