i made these and my husband loved them. i dod put the dough in the fridge for 2 hours while I was making a different batch of cookies. the dough is a little crumbly when putting them on the pan to bake. they came out at 14 minutes. i let them cool for 15 minutes and then put a tsp of lemon curd on top of each one. my husband said they tasted like lemon meringue pie. will make again.

It was delicious and soft. I used brown sugar instead of granulated and also made them a bit big so they were fluffy.

These were perfect and easy to make. I put dough in the freezer for 20 mins rather than the fridge for a couple hours and it worked great.

Great tasting cookies. Turned out perfect.

These were good, the texture was great. I also thought they needed extra pucker, so I doubled the amount of lemon. However, I would still add more when I make these again, so I will adjust accordingly to my personal taste. I added pulverized lemon head candy to the cookie batter. I also rolled them in the pulverized lemon head candy instead of sugar at the end before baking. Great recipe!

I made this recipe following the directions and adding a little bit of extra lemons but in the end they would cook and they did not taste good

So so good. Did not have baking soda, so we substituted with baking powder. Also used the juice of a whole lemon rather than just 2tbs. Came out absolutely delicious. Totally will make again!

They didn't look like the picture, mine were flatter. But oh so delish. Rave reviews!

Loved it! I love lemon so I added a little more lemon juice.

I followed the recipe exactly and they didn't flatten, they just baked into the ball shape. I'm not very good at baking but like I said, I followed the recipe. I live in Denver so maybe the elevation had something to do with it. They also weren't very sweet or lemony. I've gone over the recipe so many times trying to figure out where I might have messed up and I cannot find it. I just wanted a delicious lemon cookie darnit!

These cookies are amazing! I love lemon so I'm always looking for a great lemon cookie recipe. I didn't have a lemon to zest, so I used 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon extract. I will definitely be making these again!

This is one of those recipes that comes down to taste. I am a HUGE fan of lemon. the taste of lemon was almost non existent for me. I used zest from a large lemon and added the recommended amount of lemon juice, and that wasn't enough for me. However, the recipe makes a pretty decent sugar cookie. This recipe won't be making it into my collection.

If you like a good pucker as I do then add the zest and juice of 2 lemons and they are amazing.

They Taste soooo good😍 I'm in love! I made them Gluten-free But they turned out so chewy like I Love it. Defenitely recommend!

Good, but needs more lemon flavor. Will try again and add in some lemon zest to give it more flavor.

These were delicious. Only change was that i used less sugar to coat before baking (raw sugar is best), and they needed to bake slighlty longer than the directions stated.

I won't be looking for a new sugar cookie recipe any time soon. Decreased the bake time to 11 min & it was perfect!

I really love this as a base recipe. I've made this into orange, citrus and creamsickle cookies. (By adding a cup of vanilla chips.) It's a nice light taste, but for a more intense flavor, I always use a different extract.
