I have baked bread for the last ten years, and baked all our family's bread for about 5 years. I have tried dozens of bread recipes and this is the best one I've found so far! The taste and texture/crumb are excellent and it really is substantial enough to use as sandwich bread, which most recipes I've tried are not. Our new go-to bread recipe for everyday use! Oh, and it freezes really well! Update: in our dry climate (the Mojave Desert), I usually need to use a full cup less flour than the recipe calls for (5 cups flour).
