- 2 1/2 lb. round steak (sliced into 1 inch strips and ¼ inch thick)
- 2 Tbsp. essence (Emeril’s, recipe to follow)
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups beef broth
- 6 cups onions (sliced)
- 3 cups green peppers (sliced red and)
- 1 cup celery (sliced)
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (you can lessen this or leave out)
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. paprika (I used smoked paprika)
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp. dried thyme
