It was good. I just seasoned the gravy since the recipe doesn’t call for it.

I will definitely make this again and again! It was so tender and delicious. The prep work is easy and took around 15 or so minutes. The simmering part took an hour but needed no tending to. We really loved it!

Delicious! I forgot to flour pork chops before searing and they still turned out tender. My pork chops were extra thin so I only needed to simmer about 25 min before they were tender Served with mashed potatoes. I’ll definitely make this again!

This turned out delicious but a key is the last sentence, the chops are done when tender . I don’t understand how they could cook for 30-40 minutes . Mine took 15 and were juicy and tender

It was okay. I think the sauce was just too plain. In the future, I wouldn’t add as much flour to the mixture.

slow cook in cast iron skillet on low for 3 hours added rosemary, thyme, oxtail seasoning, for gravy did not add water add chicken broth along with a half a stick of butter to make the gravy along with adding more Rosemary and Thyme into the gravy

This recipes was perfect, as is. The one thing I think I did out of order was put the leftover seasoning into the gravy before cooking for about 1 hour. It gave the gravy lots of flavor, no broth necessary.

Fantastic! But as with every recipe I try, I end up putting my own twist on it. Pressed for time? Season the pork chops and whack ‘em thin with a mallet! Saves on your cooking time! Warm 2 cup chicken stock (or water) as you pan fry the meat. Saved cooking time with the gravy. ( or quicker still, find a GOOD jar of mushroom gravy and add once the onions have browned nicely.) start to finish with the warm water and whack-a-chop shortcut had dinner done completely in an hour and they were fabulous!! Next time I will give it a shot with the long way, and I’m betting it will be just as tasty!

Excellent! Even my picky grown son loved it. However, I won't make it again on a weekday after working all day. Takes awhile to do. Definitely worth it for a Saturday or Sunday meal though. 🙂

This was excellent!!! I substituted cornstarch for flour when making the gravy and used 1 cup beef broth and 1 cup water for extra flavor—- we licked the plates clean!!
