This was an awesome way to prepare asparagus. I cooked and served at a dinner party for the first time and EVERYONE raved about the dish.

40 minutes isn’t long enough to cook the asparagus. It needs to be cooked for an hour at least otherwise it is still very crunchy, and covering it does help. Good flavor, but very sweet. I would suggest less brown sugar and more salt if you’re not big on sweets.

This was really good. I cut the brown sugar in half and it was plenty sweet.
Our 10 month old loved it.
I also added veggies I had in the refrigerator- carrots, radishes and onions.
