- 2 cups ham (cubed,, about 3/4 pound)
- 2 cups salsa (purchased)
- 15 oz. black beans (rinsed and drained)
- 14.5 oz. vegetable broth
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice (OR lemon juice)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp. chipotle chile (chopped,, smoked jalapeno)
- 3 Tbsp. dry sherry

Directions
- In a large saucepan combine the ham, salsa, beans, vegetable broth, lime juice, garlic, coriander and chipotle. Bring to a simmer; ower heat and cook, covered, for 20 minutes. Stir in dry sherry. To serve, ladle into soup bowls.
