- olive oil (to fry)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 head garlic (finely chopped)
- 1/2 btl. beer
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 3 cups beef stock
- sea salt
- cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp. chilli flakes
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. corn flour (to thicken the sauce later)
- pastry (Scrolls)
- 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 1/2 cups cheese (your favorite, grated, gruyere, tasty, mozzarella)
- 2 Tbsp. herbs (chopped, chives, parsley)
- 1 egg (+ 1 egg extra to brush over, later)
