- 4 slices cornbread (vegan, I like this recipe, crumbled)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro (optional)
- 3 strips vegan bacon (I used Sweet Earth's Benevolent Bacon, chopped into small pieces)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil (or Vegan Magic)
- 1 lb. dried pinto beans (sorted and rinsed)
- water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika (sweet)
- 1 pinch chili powder (chipotle)
- 28 oz. tomatoes (1 can, whole, undrained)
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. agave nectar
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
