Mmm! Delicious. I made this dish for Thanksgiving and it was great! I wanted to do something different and this did not disappoint. I added two bay leaves and two teaspoons of Cajun seasoning and omitted the jalapeño to the soup and cooked brown rice on the side with garlic cheddar cornbread drop biscuits. This is definitely a keeper.

Amazing! I just added some salt and black pepper (which i don’t think you even need). Very flavorful, family loved it. Oh and i didn’t use a whole jalapeño just half.
