It turned out really good. I served it with mash potatoes and mushroom gravy. It was like a pot roast with some extra flavoring. I will experiment with the rest in a bbq sandwich.
I purchased the eye round by whim. It was on sale from $38 down to $18. I was a carnivore so I could not resist. I was going to roast it but I stumbled upon this recipe. From now on, I will file this recipe away and watch for sales.
