- 25 grams flaked almonds (– I omitted these as my Dad can’t have nuts)
- 1 Orange
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. mixed spice
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 75 mL brandy (or rum plus extra for soaking)
