  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless beef chuck (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 package beef (McCormick® Slow Cookers, Stroganoff Seasoning)
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (McCormick®)
  • 1 cup sour cream

    Directions

    1. Place beef, onion and bell pepper in slow cooker.
    2. Mix Seasoning, water, tomato paste and paprika until blended. Pour over beef and vegetables; stir to coat well. Cover.
    3. Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.
    4. Stir in sour cream until well blended. Cover. Cook 10 minutes longer on LOW. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, if desired.

    it was pretty good although to me it needed a bit more seasoning. I personally had to add a bit of salt and pepper. The beef was so tender ir melts in your mouth.

    Followed the directions as suggested but the sour.cream made it more tangy.
