I loved this soup. I made a few changes which didnt make a lot of flavour difference. I used chicken stock, didn't use the sugar and for more carbs - added 1/2 cup dry elbow macaroni. I did not use a slow cooker which probably added to "standing over the stove time" but there is nothing in this recipe that needs long, slow cooking. I will definitely make again
