Very good recipe as is! I’ve made this twice now. First time, I followed the instructions, and it tasted great! However, I was crazing a bit more spice and flavor depth. Second time I made it, I added 8 oz of canned green chilis, and added one cup of onions instead of 1/2 cup, and it turned out fabulous! Added Monterey Jack and avocado slices on top.

Great base recipe! I roasted the poblano on the grill to deepen the flavor. And when the beans were cooked, I used a hand held emulsifier to blend some of the soup base (before adding the chicken back in) and thicken it up. In doing that, I think I could have added another can of beans. With all the trimmings, fam loved it. Def adding this into rotation for fall and winter cooking.

Fricken amazing. Brine the thighs the night before in brown sugar and kosher salt. Added some diced carrots cuz I had em.

This was good. Easy to prep and get in the crockpot. Good flavor, not too spicy.

The flavors in this soup were outstanding. I did do this on the stove rather than in the slow cooker. It is a hearty dish and very good on a chilly day.

I tried this recipe. All I can say is.. Holy cow this is delicious! I didn't change a thing. I've been making white bean chicken chili for ages and everyone thinks it's darned good. Compared to this it's a utter fail! lol
This will be my new white bean chicken chili.. forever.

This was a great white bean chilli. I think the lime jucie was the key ingredient. Better than previous recipe I had used. It will be a repeat performance at my house.
