    The soup turned out well. It needed the full 8 hours on low will try high next time. For our taste I will use half the pepper next time 😋. Will make again.

    The base is good to work with and then added my own twist with seasoning. Would you use the structure of the recipe and definitely pressure cook to cut the time.

    I basically took the skeleton of the recipe and made it myself. Slow cooker seems unnecessary. Roasted a turkey breast, shredded it while cooking all veggies, herbs and stock. I added a tap of thyme and 1 bay leaf. Extra black pepper. Blended the 2 cups and added cream and turkey. Brought to boil and reduced heat for 30 min. Fabulous. And in about an hour.

    Potatoes are still hard, so i took the soup and boiled it for an hour then added turkey and heavy cream. Great recipe though

    Meh... use regular salt broth. Pre boil potatoes and peel first.
