I have used this recipe for the past three Thanksgivings and it has never failed. I add sone Slap Yo Momma to the rub. I also placed a sprig each of Rosemary, Thyme and Sage under the skin. I have never placed it in the oven to brown but I removed the skin after its done cooking. Its only my husband and I so there's no need for an entire turkey. I plan to keep using this recipe...its a keeper. :o)

Tasty and moist. I cut the breasts off the bone before broiling and laid them flat. Got a nice brown on the skin.

Very Juicy, won’t need a knife at your plate. Flavor ok, I prefer spicier foods but still 5 stars. I don’t like dry turkey so this fit the bill.

I just love crockpot meals and this recipe didn’t disappoint. It cooked perfectly! I made turkey salad with the leftovers and that was fought over. I will definitely make this again.
