- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt (+ to taste)
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (adjust spice level as desired)
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. coriander
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 dash ginger

This is fantastic!
I omitted what I didn't have: meatballs, white wine, chicken stock. Which, ended up making a vegan variation. I added chopped tempeh for a bit extra protein. I didn't use the slow cooker, just cooked this on the stove. I served the stew over rice. Spouse said, "don't lose this recipe!"
