this recipe is delicious and easy, but the cook time is wildly inaccurate. the website lists it as 15 minutes, so i dont blame yummly for the error, but the 4th step of the recipe explicitly states to cook it for 6-8 hours.
the recipe is 5 stars, but it is extremely frustrating to plan to make the recipe only to have to find something else because i planned for a 15-30 minute recipe, not an 8 hour recipe

This was excellent. I made a few small changes. I added a pound of each meat and a 28oz. can of crushed tomatos. Doubled all of the slices. It made an excellent sauce!

I doubled the recipe and made it half and half with the beef and sausage . I also added about 3/4 cup of red wine in the last 45 minutes to give it a little depth . It turned out to be delicious and now I have enough to freeze and thaw when I need a quick pasta sauce
