  • 6 boneless pork chops (1-1/2 inches thick, about 2 lbs.)
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 32 ounces sauerkraut
  • 2 apples (large, sliced)
  • 1 sweet onion (large, sliced)
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup French's Classic Yellow Mustard
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

    Directions

    1. SEASON pork with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat and brown chops.
    2. ADD sauerkraut, apples and onions to slow cooker. Arrange chops on top of sauerkraut mixture. Combine apple juice, mustard, brown sugar, and thyme and pour over chops.
    3. COVER and cook on Low 8 to 9 hours or Low 4 to 5 hours or until pork is tender.
