kind of bland, I would add more seasoning.

It came out so tender. My kids loved it. Literally cooked in high for four hours.😀

This was delicious! Throwing it in the broiler at the end is really brilliant and gives it the crispiness of an open flame. I threw in a packet of taco seasoning for the last 30 min in the slow cooker and it really added a layer of flavor with the sweetness of the citrus. I tossed with cilantro, lime, and a little reserved juice from the slow cooker after taking it out of the broiler. I felt like I was eating yummy street tacos! My only issue with this dish is that trying to shred hot pork shoulder is labor intensive and time consuming. Totally worth it but not something I'm going to make often because of it.

Supper yummy!! The flavor of spices mixed with juices of lime and oranges is delish! Not spicy at all so perfect for kids to likewise add cayenne pepper for spicy flavor

Was amazing... upped the seasonings and added a can of fire roasted (mild) chiles after shredding. Sprayed with coconut oil before broiling and upped the broiling time for real crispness (don’t skip this step!).

This was delicious and super easy to make. It had the right amount of kick to it without being overly spicy. I’ll be making this again for sure.

Very easy recipe came out delicious and pretty much shredded in the pot while cooking. I didn’t have any oranges or lime so I used lemon and habanero jelly.

This was very good. The only modification I made is I put it in a cast-iron skillet to brown it rather than the oven. Are used a little butter and olive oil, which made it not as healthy, but boy was it delicious.

It was good. Too much lime and a little bit underseasoned. Adjust seasonings to taste. But otherwise good. Makes a lot as written...we were able to make quesadillas, burritos and more quesadillas.

Awesome! So easy. The carnitas cooked nicely in the crock pot all day and was ready by game time. I added a can of Hatch diced green chilies just to give it that authentic New Mexico flavor.

This dish was delicious! made it as directed, then served over cilantro lime rice, salsa, lettuce, green onions, and avocado. So yummy. I'm not a huge fan of cumin so I'll put in 1 tsp next time.

It was extremely tender however it was very bland. I followed the recipe exactly and cooked on high for 5 hours on high in a 4 quart crockpot. I ended up adding an additional hour in order to get it tender enough to shred.

Awesome! I only had 3.75lb shoulder butt and used full seasoning qty except for only one orange and one lime. I also added 1tsp of smoked paprika to give a little smoky flavor. Served with corn, beans salsa, Greek yogurt, and Mexican cheese. Hubby loved it. It made a large qty for additional meals.
