I upped the spices and salt by 1.5x (except chili powder) and used 2 ice cubes of homemade chicken stock. Delicious over red rice!

Deeelish! When it was nearly done I smooshed the cherry tomatoes, shredded the chicken, and tossed in some crumbled feta. Put it all back in and let it sit on warm in the crockpot till the feta was melty and stirred. Like others have mentioned, I upped the spices a bit. Chef’s kiss! (Side note: when you go to the directions, you’ll see they modified the recipe a bit from what’s listed here. No more curry, plus some other edits. I made the new version.)

Turned out great I used skinless bone-in chicken thighs. I will definitely make this again.

Oh boy! This is one of the best we've had from Yummly - still lots to go though :) and many good ones here. I read in the comments that it was bland so I made sure to increase the spices/herbs. I used 1 tsp of each for 2 portions instead of the 1/3 tsp. We like spicy and I initially thought I might have overdone it, but this was REALLY good! Definitely will be doing this again. The lemons were particularly lovely and the chickpeas make the chicken (or whatever meat) go further.

More bland than I expected. Edible but not something I would make again. We prefer flavor and spices though.

I think this is a really good base recipe, that can then be customized to your particular taste.
Next time I will probably double the spices (except salt), add onion, and omit the additional lemon juice.

Great. Added 1/2 sliced onion, small handful of sun-dried tomatoes and a 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.

Delicious! My husband loved it & asked if we could have it again tonight. Having the leftovers gave the flavors a chance to blend and tasted even better.

Delicious. Very easy to prepare. I took the advice of a previous reviewer and removed the rind from lemon before slicing. I did reserve a few small bits of rind and added them. Served with couscous.

Very bland. I cut no corners, but I don't believe I will be making this again.

This recipe is amazing! I took a suggestion from someone else and added kalamata olives and capers. I use boneless, skinless chicken thighs and added some chicken broth. The flavor is spectacular!

Absolutely wonderful! I’m a notoriously picky eater and I have made this recipe 3 times. I’ve also shared the recipe with family. I really love it!

I made this in my instant pot, high pressure over 20 minutes with quick release and served over quinoa. Couscous would’ve been better but quinoa is what I had on hand. Note to self read the comments before shopping next time ;) The only thing I will change next time is leave tomatoes whole. The pressure obliterated my sliced tomatoes haha! But awesome recipe I was looking for something different to try and this was a hit!

It turned out amazing! I loved this recipe and will definitely be making this again

It was very easy to prepare and our kids loved it. We decided after it was made that we could likely cut the garbonzo beans in half as it got to be a lot of beans. Great flavor.

This Mediterranean chicken dish is delicious, nutritious and very easy to cook. I made chicken tacos with some of the leftovers!
