    It was pretty good, but not as good as I’d hoped. I used more spice, as others suggested, and while there was a pleasant heat to it, it was missing something.

    Made this just as directed and it tasted great, made two cups of jasmine rice in the rice cooker and tasted better each time we ate it. Good stuff!!!

    This was my first jambalaya to make ever it came out amazingly well! I added extra meat and went a bit spicier. Making this again.
    This was great recipe did some minor tweaks because of what I had on hand and it still came amazing !

    This is definitely going to be a staple in our house. We don’t have too many Cajun French restaurants in our area but when I travel to New Hope PA we always go to Marcia Brown which bases their cuisine Cajun French. This dish was definitely comparable to one of their dishes and it was super easy to prepare. I think the flavors marry real well in the slow cooker. I opted for the faster way and cooked it on high for 4 hours then added the shrimp for 15 minutes. It came out absolutely perfect!

    Very Good. I used frozen cooked shrimp, recommend using fresh shrimp. Really good on the spice amount.

    So so good! Loved serving it in bowls over rice. That way everyone could choose how much rice they wanted; I like it more soupy! I didn't have cajun seasoning so I used Tony's Creole seasoning.

    Used fresh Ahi instead of shrimp, and Impossible meat sausage instead of andouille. This is wonderful. I doubled the recipe and we have lots of leftovers. Serve over rice. The whole house smells good while this is cooking.

    The easiest jambalaya I've ever made. Turned out perfectly. I took the advice of others and added the minute rice right to the crockpot near the end.

    Turned out pretty good! I added my rice into the crock pot towards the end of the cooking time, added some flavor into the rice & helped soak up some of the excess liquid!

    it was great! i modified it to cook in my instant pot and the seasoning was on point. also subbed in great northern beans for the chicken, added a poblano pepper (seeded), and almost double the other veggies just to bulk it up a bit. sauted the veggies for a few minutes then tossed everything else in high pressure 12 min quick release over brown rice. so yum!

    So easy and packed with flavor! I forgot to add the chicken breast chunks, so I only had the sausage and shrimp. But my goodness does this dish packs a spicy kick. Enjoyed over some brown rice. Love it!

    This turned out amazing! We made it for our New Year’s Day brunch. Browning the sausage first with onions and peppers gave it a flavor boost for sure! Enjoy!
