Added black pepper, crushed red pepper, red onion, salt. Needed more of all of that even after lol. Fam liked it, said it’s a keeper. Thinking about doubling the additions next time, adding ginger too. Needs more of a kick.

Chicken was tender and fell off the bone because it was cooking in all the oil from the skin.The amount of sauce seemed too little so I added a little more of everything and sprinkled some pepper on top. I was nervous it may come out salty, but it was quite blend. I could see it on husband and kids faces this was not a keeper.

This recipe is fast and easy. Chicken came out juicy and tender. I just took off the skin, before eating. The sauce is very thin, but tasty. The leftovers were tasty as the chicken soaked up the flavors.

Soooo good. Cooked it for about 5 1/2 hours and it was so tender that it fell off the bone. There was a lot of sauce left, Would go really well with rice or pasta or something similar. I see some people saying that it was bland, always season your protein before cooking it 🤷🏽♀️ So simple, will definitely cook again!

The chicken came out moist and delicious. Not too sweet and not salty at all. I could only fit 4 large thighs in my crockpot and it took 5.5 hours on low. This is a very easy weeknight dinner that we will do again

Followed directions all the way thru. Turned out juicy on the outside but dry on the inside. Had a weird flavor, kinda smoky. I’d say the broth that got left over tasted better on the rice then the actual chicken itself. Probably won’t try again.

Yummy!! I used boneless skinless chicken breasts, so it cooked a little quicker yet worked!

Super bland—I even used regular soy sauce and it didn’t taste salty in the slightest. 🤷🏻♀️ Bummer.

Awesome recipe, I added a little salt but overall amazing. I would take pics but everyone cleared their plates

Everyone loved it, even the picky son that is tired of chicken. I accidentally used Whataburger Spicy Ketchup instead of regular and gave it a little kick. I was short on time so I cooked on high for 3.25 hours and it was perfect. Thanks for a great recipe.

Taste great! I cooked mine on low for 6 and a half hours and it fell off the bone it was so tender. My fiance says it was really good but could have a thicker sauce so next time I'll add some corn starch and see how that goes. Over all, amazing for a cheap easy to make meal!

Dry. Weird tasting. I cooked for 8hours on low. Perhaps would taste better with 4hours on high?

This was a super easy dinner. I served over white rice, and used some of the sauce for the top.
