So I actually didn’t make this as a soup. I wanted to serve it as a pulled chicken on rice, so I just cut the amount of broth in half. I also cut the sesame oil in half and added a minced cloves of garlic, but that’s personal preference. When the chicken was done cooking, I used some of the cooking broth in place of the water called for when cooking the minute rice. I served the pulled chicken on top of the rice and spooned a bit more of the cooking broth on top to make it juicier. My family loved it.
