This was great!!
My potatoes were Dutch babies whole other than that, so tasty!

I added a few extra spices such as old bay and greek seasonings, but otherwise its my favorite irish stew recipe. In a pinch it can be cooked in a dutch oven in 2 hours.

This is the 3rd time I’m making it and a swear it is better each time love this Especially when paired with the Irish soda bread!!!

Absolutely amazing dish, my husband even went back for 3rds! Rich and hearty stew great for chilly evenings. I did change a few things- I halved the ingredients to make a smaller amount, used red potatoes instead of golden, used stew beef not lamb, added about 1-1.5 tbs of pepper and a few pinches of cayenne and salt substitute. Served with puff pastry. This will definitely be made again by me!

I really liked the lamb. I'll use the marinade again. I found the Guinness overpowering in the stew for my tastes. I will probably add more tomato paste and spices next time I make.

Love this recipe! Good with dry bay leaves if you're in a pinch. Can't wait to cook it again and try with peppers
