This was super delicious. Served over rice it gave us a chicken piccata meets shrimp scampi vibe. I used chicken thighs because they’re what I had thawed; and they do make more sauce because of the fat. Therefore, if you use chicken thighs, add an additional tablespoon of cornstarch to get the sauce to thicken. Also, I added additional freshly ground pepper and capers when I added the other ingredients in the final hour. Freakin delicious.

I'd suggest reducing the amount of lemon juice since mine turned out a little tart, but I also had VERY juicy lemons. I also deglazed the cast iron pan with some white wine and included that in the slow cooker after browning the chicken.

Great recipe, would be easy to pair with a lot of different sides. We had it with spaghetti and it was delicious! The sauce mixed well with the noodles. Good flavors, easy to make, everyone enjoyed it. Made it exactly as written.

This is super easy and delicious, the chicken is so tender we shredded the leftovers and them on salad sandwiches the next day! He family loved it! I am a vegetarian and made this dish with veggies instead of the chicken and it was amazing, one of the best veggie dishes ever!

Spectacular! This is now on the rotating list of favorites...I serve over rice and veggies same day then for left overs it makes a great cold salad topping. Can be put in wraps or sandwiches, the possibilities are endless. I have used heavy whipping cream in stead of half and half and it is absolutely decadent.

This just didn’t come out right and everyone thought it tasted so awful that I won't be attempting to give it another try by adjusting the proportions and time. Served it on top of egg noodles and there just wasn't enough sauce to it. The chicken was already very dry in appearance and that was prior to the time where you add the liquid and cook on high for another hour.

Loved it and so did my boyfriend. I might add capers next time but all in all a great recipe! New favorite

It was good, mine did not get creamy for some reason. If it would have I’d imagine it would be even better.

I make this about once a week now. Incredibly delicious (I love it on a salad or in a quinoa bowl!) and incredibly easy. Plus it makes your whole house smell amazing!

Delicious!!! I accidentally overcooked it a bit so the chicken was falling apart but my husband ate seconds AND thirds!!
Made it exactly as instructed (well except for accidentally cooking too long) and it was an absolute hit!!

This was delicious! I did add about a half cup of chicken stock in the initial cook time. I also added a few cubes of cream cheese in that last hour when adding the half and half. I served it over egg noodles for my kid that doesn't like rice; he loved it (and is soooo picky). My entire family really enjoyed it. I will definitely make this again.

Surprisingly refreshing with the lemon! Had it with biscuits and it was perfect!

This was awesome! I kind of eyeballed it on the salt/pepper/italian seasonings. I'm pretty sure I put double the amount of ewch of those. I also used garlic powder instead of minced garlic. I added shredded parmesan for the last hour. What came out was spectacular! Such bold flavor. Will definitely be making this again soon.

The chicken was quite tasty. The lemon gave the dish a refreshing and lite flavor. The half and half and butter provided a pleasing smooth, creamy to texture.

Walked my 14 year old through this recipe because it looks like an easy 'quick to put together and a great mother/son quality time. Hes in training to prepare for the 'real world' and he needs a signature dish for when he hits varsity!!. Its in the slow cooker now and I can already tell its going to be a winner.... tasting the recipe as we were putting it together. We're having it served with medium grain rice with wild rice added to color the white rice. And a side salad of mixed young mesclun and lettuce with a seasoned lemon juice and vinegar quick salad oil. The garlic and lemon waffting from the crockpot... smells awesome.

turned out great, followed directions to a T. Used the high setting since I was pressed for time and it still turned out tender

Very good and flavorful. Serve the chicken over rice and pour the leftover sauce over both.
