I make corn beef in the slow cooker quite often so when I saw this I thought, why not change it up a bit, I really wish I hadn't... the aroma wasn't pleasant and the ale gave the vegetables a weird flavor. Luckily, the corn beef and cabbage where salvageable because they weren't submersed in the ale,
