Love this! I’ve made it every Xmas for the past 5 years at least I’d say! I like how cooking it in the slow cooker helps to make the almonds a little softer once hard. Luckily I don’t have a slow cooker in my house and only make this once a year at my parents, I’d be in trouble if I could make these at home too. I do find I could likely use a little bit less sugar on it since there is quite a bit leftover, but overall this is a great receipe: easy to make while I’m spending the day working on the Christmas cookies, and makes the house smell soooo good.
