- 1 Tbsp. fresh sage (coarsely chopped, 1/4 tsp dried, ground sage)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 2 navel oranges (large, juice and zest)
- liqueur (Crabapple)
- 4 cups crab apples (~1.5 lbs., halved)
- 1 liter vodka
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
