  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • ground turkey
  • 1 package chili seasoning (McCormick® Slow Cookers)
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (14 1/2 ounces each, undrained)
  • 2 cans kidney beans (16 ounces each, drained and rinsed)
  • 15.5 ounces tomato sauce

    Directions

    1. Brown ground beef or turkey in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
    2. Place cooked beef, Slow Cookers Chili Seasoning Mix, tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce in slow cooker. Stir until well mixed. Cover.
    3. Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Stir before serving.

    Very good! I didn't have the exact ingredients, so I used fire roasted tomatoes, & tomato paste + 3 cups water instead of tomato sauce. Also, instead of the spice blend, I used crushed red pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, & salt. Great with homemade cornbread.

    Added some onion, celery and mushrooms and 2 packets of spices. Turned out great!
