- 2 1/2 cups homemade chicken stock
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1/2 cup stock
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup red pepper (or chopped green)
- 1 carrot (grated or finely chopped)
- 2 cups chicken (cooked, shredded)
- other vegetables (optional)
- broccoli (optional)
- 3 tsp. italian seasoning (or taco seasoning)
- 2 cloves crushed garlic (or ½ tsp. garlic powder)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 cup grated cheese (I prefer sharp cheddar, but Mexican blend with the taco seasoning or mozzarella with the Italian is also great)
