This is my 2nd time making this I made a couple of changes. I brown my meat in light flour just because it seems to make the meat taste better Made it 4 1/2 cups of beef broth and left out the 1 cup water. We like beefy flavoring. I also add 2 T steak sauce. I had quick cook barely and added the last 30 mins of cook time.

I have made this a few times. I used vegetable broth rather than beef broth. I used one 16 Oz package of mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots, green beans). It turns out more dense and stew-like rather than having a lot of broth. The thickness of the juice seems to depend on how fatty the stew meat is. This is easy to make and good.
