    It turned out great! I didn’t add the salt because of previous reviews, and I’m glad I didn’t. It doesn’t need the salt. I also used 2 cups of low sodium beef broth instead.

    Im in the process of making this, it smells amazing, but the time of this being done is way off, it says 55 minutes when clearly is not. I had this in the pot on High for almost 3 hours and its not close to being done!

    So good! I cut back a bit on the salt (maybe a tsp less than what's called for) to suit our taste and it was delicious...and very easy. Will definitely make this again.

    Directions say to put a tbsp of salt - turned out too salty for my family. Next time will cut the salt and seasonings in half. I did double the amount of liquid. The house smelled great while it was cooking.

    Excellent. I found if you want to slow cook it all day in order for it to turn out as in the photo with plenty of juice you should double or maybe even triple the beef stock. But the recipe is delicious either way. Excellent idea to serve with pico de gallo in burritos.

    I cooked this for the entire family and it was a hit! I used a little more broth than it called for and it was perfectly tender after 8 hours. It comes out a little salty so if you want to prevent that, just go light with the salt before you sear the meat. I will definitely be making this barbacoa again!

    I made this last night for my family and it was great!! I added a few spices adobo paste and adobo seasoning and my family said Chipotle who?! We will definitely make this again...Soon!

    I added more spices and doubled the amount of broth the recipe called for. This dish was excellent and tender. I also let the limes cook in the meat for the last 40-60 minutes and it was delicious.

    Holy moly my BF and I LOVED IT. The only thing we recommend is that only 1/2 tablespoon of salt. Other than that, AMAZING! I cooked it for 9 hrs instead of the 8 on medium, and it came out DELISHHH. I did put a cup of broth and I think it came out delicious! We will definitely make this again with some home made salsa. Goes great with cilantro, onion, lime, and some salsa for toppings. Y U M. Another note I would recommend is to trim off the fat. Anyhoo, happy cooking!

    The barbacoa was delicious! I increased the broth to 1 cup because it seemed like it was a little dry after only using half a cup but that could have been the cut of meat I used too. We used it in tortillas with fresh veggies, and the cilantro and lime and it qas awesome! Plus, using it for wraps, you can easily get 8 or more wraps out of it. Definitely making it again.
