- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (large, trimmed of any fat)
- 1/2 cup honey (real, I used Sue Bee's Orange Blossom)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (if subbing low sodium you may need to add salt)
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce (I only use Kikkoman's)
- 1/4 cup pepper jelly (my homemade cran-, can sub jalapeño pepper jelly)
- 1/2 onion (a medium, chopped)
- 3 Tbsp. minced garlic (about 8 large cloves)
- 1 Tbsp. Sriracha sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. rice vinegar
- 2 dried red chili peppers (sliced)
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. corn starch
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- sliced green onions (optional)
- toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- 4 cooked rice (servings fluffy)
