I followed the recipe as written, and it was good, the whole family enjoyed it, but for me it was missing something. I will make again, but will likely increase the apricot preserves to 1 1/2 cups and add some red pepper flakes and a dash of sriracha for a little more flavor depth. Overall it's a simple family friendly meal.

Our family loves this recipe! We've made it one of our regular dishes. It is so easy to make and delicious as well :)

No one in my family of five liked the dish and we followed the directions to a”T.” It turns into candy pulled chicken.

Sauce is runny, do not like the mustard flavor from the Russian dressing, will not make again

I made this for a FriendsGiving party that I hosted and it was really good! I had to double the recipe since I had 10 guests and needed more than 4 servings. The crockpot did the job perfectly and I honestly have no idea how I’ve gotten this far without using one before. The ingredients don’t exactly sound appetizing but you can tell as the scent wafts through the kitchen that it’s going to be good. However, the chicken did come out a tiny bit dry so if You’re going to make it I suggest maybe cutting off 15-20 minutes of cook time.

I have made this recipe for over 30 years. Only difference is I cook it in the oven for one hour. It's delicious!!! This is a must try. Even though it doesn't sound good mixing those ingredients, it's awesome
