I followed the recipe but the chicken turned out bland and dry, even though there was plenty of liquid and flavor in the pot. What saved this recipe was that we served it in a bowl over jasmine rice, drizzled honey on top, and sprinkled additional cinnamon on top. It was decent once we added those touches.
