- 2 onion (large, finely sliced)
- 2 green chilli (large)
- 1 tomato (medium-sized, chopped, optional)
- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 1 handful curry leaves
- 1 piece pandan leaf
- 1/4 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1 tsp. fenugreek seeds
- 2 inches cinnamon (piece of)
- 4 cardamom (slightly bruised)
- 1 Tbsp. minced ginger
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 3 cups coconut milk (thin, how-to make, written above)
- 1 cup milk (thick, 1/2 cup of coconut milk if you want less gravy, 1 cup if you want more gravy)
