This was the worst ham I ever served. I followed all instructions, but it was more like ham jerky than ham. Will never ever make ham in slow cooker again.

Second year in a row making this ham for thanksgiving and just the same as last year this is still the best ham I’ve tried. Cooking ham in a slow cooker is a no brainer, it’s easy, low maintenance and super moist! Makes for awesome leftovers too! I made pineapple purée this year instead of buying the preserve because I couldn’t find any at the store this year, but honestly it tastes the same as a finished product, so can substitute for purée if needed. Overall amazing recipe!
