Sloppy Joes were a hit! Especially the toasted buns! Easy and quick to make I added 2 extra teaspoons of brown sugar b/c we like it a bit sweeter, and a dash - or 3 of Worcestershire - for added flavor. The family rated it 4+ out of 5 so this will be added to the dinner recipe rotation.

Good recipe. First time I followed the directions and my family really enjoyed it , next time I'll play around with ingredients to make it my own.

Great recipe! We loved it! I used bbq sauce instead of tomato paste.

Recipe was mediocre but still alright. Added 1/4 cup bbq sauce and it made it perfect.

Its worth the work! Best sloppy joes ever and putting the buns in the oven is a great idea

absolutely delicious, I was a little bit liberal with the spice & Worcestershire sauce and it turned out great... having said that, I am Australian, so I'm not really the best judge on a proper Sloppy Joe, but hey, I'll definitely make this again!

Great, my daughter was begging for sloppy joes, and the canned stuff makes my stomach hurt. This recipe pleased us both.

It was very good. I put in some beef bouillon and added more onions and peppers than the recipe called for. Yes I would make it again

My fige year old devoured these! Used one cup of water and let simmer for 15 min. becomes nice and thick.

Amazing flavor. I used 1 T Worcestershire sauce and it turned out perfect. Sautéed the onion, garlic, and yellow pepper before adding to sauce.

It turned out great. It was definitely better than what you get in a can!

This has a strange taste, and we finally figured out that it was undercooked garlic. I would change the directions and sauté the garlic and onion first to insure thorough cooking, not add it to the meat per directions. A half teaspoon red pepper flakes was a bit spicy for my grandkids 8-12, but they ate it.
