- cheese (White melting, I used a combo of provolone and mozzarella)
- 1 lb. lean meat (ground, I used chicken... pork, beef, turkey can be substituted)
- 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (grated)
- red chili flakes (to taste)
- black pepper
- seasoning salt
- 8 oz. tomato sauce (can of plain)
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 Tbsp. Sriracha (if you like it spicy)
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar (sloppy joe's are sweet and tangy so it depends on how sweet you want it)
