The original recipe has a great thickness and texture but is just a tad bland (good, but could use a kick). I added a little honey/sugar, cinnimon, curry powder and hot sauce. Not your traditional Tikka Masala but definitely tasty. If you count macros, the modified recipe has 5 carbs, 4 protien and 3 fat per 1/2 cup of sauce (not including chicken). Great sauce if you're trying to stick to the healthy stuff and very easy to make in bulk for weekly meal prep.

Tasted great! But likely not 100% like restaurant flavor because it is lightened up. Next time I might use butter instead of oil

This is so easy and a great recipe! Will defo do again. I didn’t have any yoghurt but it didn’t seem to make any difference just added a little low fat cream

Turned out well, added more spice, used low fat milk and Greek yoghurt as substitutes and it turned out very great. It was awesome. Quickly done too, thanks!

Really tasty but I heavily increased the amount of spices or it would have been a bit bland. Used fat free half and half in place of milk and chicken thighs instead of breasts. Easy meal.

it was good but surprisingly bland for a dish with so many spices. im not sure what it is missing but it needs it.

I wasn’t the biggest fan. I added more chicken because there was way more sauce than anything else. I had to add a ton of extra spices to make it taste decent. Just not for me.

Great. Had to turn the heat higher on the last simmer step to cook the chicken through.

Delicious! Added a little more of the spices for more flavor but it was fast, yummy, and easy to make.

It was excellent! I put a little less Chili powder than what the recipe called for and it was still very spicy.

My husband are it! Easy to make and very different from our usual. Served with cucumber salad and cantaloupe

delicious and easy to prepare. i recommend first browing the chicken in the oil and setting aside to re-add at the step the recipe describes.

Great flavor while keeping the fat low. I added some toasted slivered almonds for a nice crumch

Overall I really enjoyed the recipe and it turned out great! I am not a huge fan of Onion so i used about half instead of a full and it gave it a very nice flavor.

Would definitely make again. I added a bit more salt and chili powder to give a little more flavor.

A pleasant surprise!!! Accustomed to making Chicken Masala with the traditional heavy cream but wanting a healthier version for my family.....It was full of flavor and delicious!!

Very tasty! Added slightly more tomatoes than it calls for. My husband loved it and I thought it was just as some good as some tikka I've had in restaurants.

Tasted delicious, but I had to blend the sauce before I added the chicken because the sauce broke. My family loved it. I put it over coconut rice. Next time I need to make or buy naan since there was extra sauce.

What isn't good that Gina makes? Gina from Skinnytaste has some of the best tasting food around. This tikka masala was no exception. I've never really tried much Indian food and when I did I wasn't a fancy of it. A friend gave me a bite of his homemade tikka masala and it was pretty good. I thought I'd give one of Gina's a shot. This was amazing. I ate it all up and almost finished the whole pot. It had an amazing flavor. I ate it with naan bread instead and fell in love. Thanks again Gina for another amazing meal!

This is a an excellent recipe and was well received by the whole family. I was cooking for 6 so I doubled the ingredients which increased the calories per serving but all plates were cleaned. This is definitely one that will be revisited and often and I will probably tweak the spicing to my requirements but even straight from the page, this is definitely good
