Healthy and delicious. Easy to make! You cannot tell the difference between this shepherd’s pie with cauliflower mash versus a potato mash. Perfect hearty dish for a chilly night. Hearty but guilt free! I will definitely be making this again!

Great recipe that’s easy to tweak to your family’s liking. I sub instant garlic and herb mashed potatoes for the cauliflower because we eat low fodmap. Also sometimes add frozen mixed veggies (pre cook in the micro to remove extra water before you add them) and a splash of worchester sauce for a little more depth (can use sherry wine too). And to the rude comment about the ingredient list, mirepoix is a French term, it’s your carrot/onion/celery mix, finely chopped. Trader Joe’s and other grocery stores offer it prechopped and packaged. The author was helping to make the recipe easier to throw together, and she did a great job at doing just that.
