    This one is a winner! I used hot sausage and left out the red pepper flakes. Otherwise, I followed the recipe as written.

    Awesome! So easy and full of flavor. Use any beans and any sausage you want. I only had one can of beans which was sufficient, could have done with two. I cut back on the broth to 1 cup and simmered a while longer so it was not as soupy. This is almost like a stew
