- all purpose flour (115g, 1 cup plain)
- 2 Tbsp. honey (manuka, or sugar)
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
- 390 mL buttermilk (or mix 1 ½ cups of milk with 1 ½ teaspoons of lemon juice or vinegar and let stand for 5 minutes)
- 2 eggs
- 50 grams unsalted butter
- 100 grams unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 Tbsp. honey (manuka)
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (quality)
- 1 pinch sea salt
- honey (Manuka, for drizzling)
