I am not even a huge coffee cake person but based on the reviews decided to try it. And OMG it is amazing! I didn’t follow the directions and just went by the recipe and put everything in at once and mixed it instead of sprinkling the cinnamon and brown sugar on top. I’m sure it’s amazing that was too, but all mixed together was so so good! I just sent this recipe to a bunch of people to try because it’s too good not to share!

Quite good, although I'm not quite sure if what I used is what you'd call brown sugar. Still, it tasted so good I'll be doubling the ingredients next time in order to take advantage of the size of my mug.

I changed it up a little bit. I had a ripe pear which, I cubed small & added it to the dough on top. Next time I will add it to the dough & then added crumbles to the top. I also, added liquid egg & it baked it for two minutes. It was ok for the time it took but, I’ll try another mug coffee cake next time.

This was amazing all of the mug cakes I’ve had don’t even come close to this one. Definitely will be making this again.

OMG!!!! I ONLY TOOK ONE BITE SO FAR AND ITS AMAZING!!!!! It has the exact texture a cake should have and it tastes amazing! I used 2% Greek yogurt instead of the oil (as they said you could) and I was shocked by the results! I had never tried a coffee cake before and this was a great one to start off with! I microwaved it for 15 seconds and then 30. This may only be my first time making this, but I know I will make it again and again and again!!!
Edit: I make this all the time with the greek yoghurt, but I just tried it with the veg oil. The cake part was fluffier and I think it was better, but one of my favourite parts is the brown sugar crumble ontop. With the greek yoghurt, the brown sugar stays crumbly and crunchy ontop, but for some reason, with the veg oil, it sort of seeps through, like the picture in the website, which I guess you could say spreads around the flavour? Tbh I think both ways are REALLY good, but I think I like the greek yoghurt version a bit better.

I really liked this recipe, although I would've added an egg. It's a little gummy but otherwise I like it!
