    I just needed a recipe to help me use up some extra homemade spaghetti sauce. I used this as a guide. I added hot Italian sausage crumbled over the sauce layers for extra taste otherwise I followed the recipe as written. Somehow I only used 9 lasagna noodles.

    Turned out great! Only substitutions Were that I added pepperoni & more mozzarella cheese (Wisconsinites need more cheese... lol)

    Very good base recipe. I doubled it to feed a family of 5 and have some left overs. I made a couple of adjustments such as adding a small can of paste to the sauce so it's not watery. I also par boiled the lasagna noodles to make sure they were cooked. I would definitely make this again. Family and coworkers loved it.

    Great but I doubled the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. I also added sausage to the meat sauce.

    Looked great, made it for my friends wife’s birthday and she said it’s the best she’s ever had. I didn’t get a chance to taste it the kids ate it all.

    Definitely could have used more sause or maybe take out one layer pasta so it can be extra cheesy and enough sause.

    Was very tasty and pretty easy to make. Could have probably used a little more sauce. Added 1 lb of spicy sausage for extra flavor. Recommend this recipe.

    This was great but we made a few adjustments because of what we had on hand. We used Italian sausage and onion, instead of parsley we used a bay leaf. We also used 1.5 jars of sauce and a lot more cheese. Best lasagna ever

    It was outstanding, If you’re using boxed lasagna noodles, I recommend applying the cheese mixture with a spoon to each noodle before putting it in the pan; you’ll thank me later. After the timer goes off, put it under the broiler and watch it until it looks crispy on top.

    Amazing taste. Easy to make. The only change I made was adding fresh, diced garlic to the meat sauce.

    Excellent! I used fresh basil and Italian parsley, added a can of Italian style stewed tomatoes, and used 1 1/2 cups of water. I let it sit on the counter for an hour or so to let the pasta soak up the extra water and it was great!
