A great recipe for easy to make brownies. I didn't double boil, i just melted the butter and sugar together in a pot then added the cocoa. Tasted really good with a scoop of vanilla icecream.

We've made these many times over the last few years. It is now our go to brownie recipe. Sometikes i add peppermint oil which is a huge hit but theyre just as good without. i think they are much less dry than typical brownie mixes. One tip: use unsalted butter. It eliminates that hint of saltiness in cookies and brownies and makes them taste richer IMO.
