It was a great meal. I added hamburger meat and parmesan cheese to it. People said it was still good even without the cheese.

The rice turned out really well, I used jasmine rice peas and carrots and seasoned it. I’m hoping the rest of the family will enjoy it as much as I do.
I also decided to do it in the instant pot, which really makes the rice cook up perfectly.

DELICIOUS! Mine turned out mushy (user error, not the recipe) and my family still gobbled it up! I added some extra seasonings; definitely a great starting point to add your own spin.
*** IF you somehow have leftovers, this is an amazing addition to an "egg cup" for those on the go in the morning!

I made it in an instapot on the rice setting. It was a little too sticky but the flavor was really good.
