- 1 cup chicken broth (for vegan)
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 1 bay leaf (large)
- black pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt (plus more to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh basil (chopped)
- 2 tsp. honey (or sugar, sugar for vegan / honey for paleo)
- whole milk (or cream to serve if desired, about 2-4 tbsp per serving depending on how you like it - omit for paleo / vegan)

This ingredient list leaves out the cup of chicken broth that is included in the instructions on the website.
